Employment opportunity for a Stores Operative

You will have the opportunity to join the Materials Team in Hamble supplying materials to both of our manufacturing facilities. With goods of all kinds flowing in and out, it’s vital that they’re received, stored, repackaged and delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will support all areas within the materials receiving, handling, preparation and issuing functions to enable the efficient and effective material supply to the organisations internal and external customers.

Job Specification:

Responsibilities include

Receiving, storing, kitting, preparation and issuing of stock to both internal and external customers.
Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, shipments and returns.
Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness.
Identification of handling and storage requirements of incoming goods according to any special requirements and compliance with those requirements.

 

The ideal candidate will possess

Be confident using computers and other industrial machines.
Friendliness essential.
Right to live and work in the UK.
